CERN Collider Rap
Saturday, August 30th, 2008So the large hadron collider is about to be fired up in France and Switzerland. The 26-mile oval-like, underground tube will help scientists determine, once and for all, the existence and behavior of anti-matter.
The collider will be switched on on the 10th of September - that is, if a group of irrate scientists, professors, and theorist from Switzerland, Austria, France, and Germany can’t stop the party. These concerned Eurozens think that the dangers of starting of the collider need to be considered more carefully - including the possibility that a black hole could swallow up the Earth. What’s more likely is that the scientists will better understand - and perhaps identify the elusive Higgs Boson particle.
